3 Mary Ann Porter Hartzell |

Mary Ann Porter was born May 24, 1880 in Peoria (Lord’s Hill), Knox County, Illinois. She was the eighth child of John Henry Porter, and the only child of John Henry Porter’s marriage with Anna Sarah Coffin Porter. She married James Hartzell on January 27, 1900. James died on June 22, 1940. Mary Ann Porter died on May 3, 1961, and is buried at Summit View Cemetery in Guthrie, Oklahoma (block 32, lot 33, lot purchased by O.C. Porter).
