Lillian (Lillie) Mae Clark  (b. 01 Sep 1875, Griswold, Cass County, Iowa, d. 24 Sep 1954, Oklahoma City, OK).  She was the daughter of Samuel Harrison Clark and Susana Jane McLeary.

Samuel Harrison Clark (b. 31 Jan 1845, Agency, Wapello County, Iowa, d. 20 Jul 1895, Fort Collins, CO), the son of John Franklin Clark (b. 9 Jan 1813, Laurel, Kentucky, d. 1 Feb 1899, Wymere, Gage, NE) and Mary Jane Kendall (b. 2 Sep 1816, Windsor, Shelby, IL, d. 23 Dec 1890, Wymere, Gage, NE).

Susana McCleary (b. 01 Mar 1846, Grant, Montgomery, IA, d. 03 Jul 1908, Garfield, Lincoln, NE) was the daughter of Pauline Keywood (b. 1828 Tennessee, d. 1858 District, Wapello, IA) and William McCleary (b. 11 Apr 1822, One Leg, Tuscarawas County, OH, d. 1910).

When Lillie was young, her father Samuel developed tuberculosis, so the family loaded everything into a covered wagon and took him to Fort Collins, Colorado, for his health.  His health did not recover, and he died there on July 20, 1895.  The family returned to Kansas, where Lillie got a job at the same farm that John Frank Porter was working as a farm hand.  Lillie and John were married December 22, 1891.
